Autumn Blessings Intergenerational Event
November 8, 9am - 11am in Oakland Hall
Bring the whole family for a warm breakfast and a heart filled morning of service and creativity. We’ll make fall crafts, write cards for our homebound members, and pack Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes for children around the world. While this event
is sponsored by the Children’s Ministry, we hope people of all generations with or without children will attend. Please register as soon as possible so that we can prepare craft materials, send specific details about packing boxes, and know how much
food to prepare!
Can’t make it but still want to share in the blessings? Contact Lisa Gallagher at lgallagher@opac.us about donating boxes, filler items, &/or shipping costs for the Operation Christmas Child mission project.

Chrismon Making Event
Join us November 2 and/or November 16, from 9-11 am, in the Fellowship Hall
Chrismons (short for Christian monograms) are Christian symbols made in white and gold that point to different aspects of Jesus Christ and our faith. White represents purity and gold represents God's glory. The Chrismons made at these events will be used to decorate the church's Christmas tree during Advent and Christmas, to remind us that Christmas is about the birth of Christ.
Children will need to come with a chaperone to help them make a Chrismon for their own tree and one for the church's tree.
A light breakfast will be served during both events.
On November 30, come to the 11:00am Worship service and bring a Chrismon to place on the tree during Children's Time.
These events are open to all! Adults, kids, youth - the whole church - all are invited to participate in Chrismon-making!
This event is organized by the Worship Committee. If you have any questions, please call the office, or contact a member of the Worship Committee.
