Our library is not just about books...we also house an excellent collection of audio-visual materials which are available to you.
- Video and audio tapes
- Games and puzzles
- VCR and cassette players
- Slide & transparency projectors
- Charts and maps
- Easels and chalkboards
- Telesensory Aladdin Classic and desk (equipment which enlarges reading material); to be used in the Library
How to Find Materials
The picture book collection with books for toddlers and early school age children is color coded by Subject matter. A chart on the wall provides a guide to the colors.
Books and reference materials for pre-teens, young adults, and adults are arranged by the universal Dewey Decimal System. Books for pre-teens & teens are on the center low set of shelves in the adult section and marked with a J or Y.
The card catalog lists books by author, title and subject matter.
How to Borrow Materials
Library materials may be checked out for two weeks at a time. Reference books should be used in the library unless special permission to check them out is requested. Please check out all resources used outside the library, even if used on church premises. The check out procedure is posted above the check out file.
