Baptism

In the Presbyterian Church (USA), infant/child baptism is an opportunity for parents and the congregation to affirm their intent to raise a child as a Christian, in this particular community.  Having the child raised in the church of their baptism offer support to the parents and a church family to encourage that child's faith.

Kid's Kirk

"Kirk" is the Scottish word for church.  This children's church program is designed to help transition young children ages 4years-1st grade, into our corporate worship.  During the 11:00 Worship Service, children enter the sanctuary with their families and worship together up to the children's time.  After the children's time, they leave with their leaders.  This group then has a simplified worship, free play, and a snack.  Worship includes:

  • Singing favorite church songs,
  • Learning the Doxology,
  • Passing the Peace,
  • Learning short prayers,
  • Sharing in the offering

Parents/Guardians are welcome to join their children in Kid's Kirk at anytime.

Children are picked up from 105 after worship.
