Concert Series

We are the body of Christ. With hands, voices, and God's gift of music we reach out to bring truth, beauty, and goodness to all.

Music at Oakland is a community outreach of several concerts each year. The series includes church, local, regional, and national performers from various idioms. All concerts are free to the community. A freewill offering will be accepted towards future events.

The Concert Series Committee, under the auspices of the Worship and Music Committee*, is pleased to announce the Concert Series for this coming year.

Sat., Nov. 2, 2019, 7:00 p.m. -- Sandlapper Singers, Columbia

Sat., Nov. 21, 2020, 7:00 p.m. -- Astralis Chamber Ensemble, Beethoven's 250th Birthday Celebration

*The Music at Oakland Concert Series is supported, in part, by the Moore Family Music Endowment, dedicated to the four Moore brothers – John Wilson Moore, Claude Love Moore, Joe Campbell Moore and Murray Black Moore – and to Joe Campbell Moore, Jr, son of Joe and Betty Moore, all who loved the music at Oakland Avenue Presbyterian Church.
