Portraits of our Ministry.... Connecting to God's Call

I really enjoyed drawing with the kids and helping my Mom in the kitchen for the Family Promise night in May. It was amazing to see how talented and smart the kids were. They had so much fun eating and playing w/ me and my brother. It was hard to believe they were going through so much with no place to live - they acted like normal kids!

They were all so cute and sweet. I'm glad I helped my Mom out and I'm sure my brother is too! We had a whole lot of fun AND helped some really great families out, too!

Seder Meal 2011
During Holy Week 2011 there were a number of special events. A Seder meal was held during the week, commemorating the Passover meal that Jesus shared with his Disciples the evening before his crucifixion. The meal included scripture readings, foods that were associated with the first Passover and the flight of the Hebrew people from slavery in Egypt.

HOPE GARDEN

The HOPE Garden is under the Green Team which is a subcommittee of the Finance Committee. The HOPE Gardeners are always hard at work tilling, planting and harvesting for Project HOPE.  What a tremendous blessing it is to receive fresh produce from such a caring group of people.
